Please take note: The Women’s Bible Study will not meet this Wed. Aug. 6^th.

We have some free tickets to the Pawtucket Red Sox on Thurs, Aug. 21 for a 7:05 game.  If you are interested, please sign up, or speak to Fr. Len.

We need someone to assist with producing power point slides for the 9:30 Service. See Larry E for details. 

Worship

Reach

This month’s theme for the Northboro Food  Pantry is Juices (bottles, concentrate, boxes), tea and Cocoa. We are hoping to collect extra food during the months of July & August for Victory In ChristChurch in Worcester.  A list of things needed will be by the basket. They especially need: shampoo, deodorant & shaving cream.

Community Meals for this month is August 27^th.  Please call Kathy R if you can help.

AppleFest 2008 - Sept. 20^th with rain date on the 21^st.  Please join us in the parade that starts at Noon.  We need volunteers to hand out water during the race. See Fr. Len or Cindy Loverin for times and details.  We also need volunteers for the outreach booth. Please contact someone in the Reach ministry for more information.

Teach

Family Sunday - No  Sunday School Program this Sunday AUGUST 3.

V.B.S. All volunteers meet Sunday Aug 3^rd at 6PM in the church hall to decorate, get t-shirts and job assignments.

Summer Study of Celtic Spirituality continues - Join Fr. Len this Wed. at 7:30 as we continue a summer  tudy and conversation about Celtic Christian Spirituality.

Willow Creek Leadership Summit 2008: “Lead Where You are” Telecast from Willow Creek in IL to over 100 cities in the US & Canada.  The Summit this year is on Thurs. & Fri.,  Aug. 7-8 at Grace Chapel, Lexington, MA. Come and raise your leadership skills to the next level. Some of the more notable speakers will be; Bill Hybels, & Chuck Colson. Pick up a brochure from the Sunday Worship space bulletin board or call Pete M or Fr. Len at 508-393-3146 for more info.  You will need Nativity’s membership number to complete the registration form and get the discounted rate. Fr. Len or Pete can provide you with a blank form.

Small Group Leaders Training (present small group leaders, those leading bible studies, current small group members & those seeking to learn more about small groups)  Sat., Sept. 27 from 8:30AM - 3PM in the Nave.  Refreshments and lunch will be served.

Celebrate 

All parishioners are invited to beautiful Sunset Beach in Shrewsbury on Mon., Aug. 25,  sponsored by the Children’s and Youth Choirs.  The lake has something that will  interest everyone in your family including: an old fashioned water slide, tower and diving board, water logs, basketball, ping pong tables, horseshoes, playground, water toys & land toys for toddlers, boat rentals, picnic tables, store and fishing. Save the date. Come one come all.

VBS Family Fun Night will be in the church hall on this Thurs., Aug. August 7^th from 6:30-8PM. Come see “Power Lab” slide show and enjoy an ice cream sundae.
