Care Ministries

Health Ministry
The Health Ministry provides a new dimension in pastoral care focusing on the inter-relatedness of physical and spiritual needs. The program, developed by health care professionals in our parish community, provides opportunities for pastoral visits, educational forums, and consultation and resource referral. There is also a blood pressure screening held on the first Sunday of the month after both services. Learn more about our Health Ministry.

Meals Assistance Program
This ministry provides a meal (or more, if necessary) when the family cook is ill, recovering from the arrival of a newborn, or handling an emergency where a meal would be a blessing. The parish office may be called to obtain assistance with meals.

Hospital Visitation Ministry
The Pastoral Care Assistant, Clergy, and other trained lay people, try to visit parishioners in the hospital, offering prayer and encouragement in the acute care setting, as well as during follow-up recovery at home. Please call the parish office when you know you are going into the hospital, or when someone you love has been admitted.

Nursing Home Ministry
Periodic visits are made to area nursing homes. This may include patient visits or a lay-led worship service that includes music and a time of fellowship.

Care Team
The Care Team is available to assist the clergy in offering pastoral support. The team consists of a group of lay pastors who bring different gifts together to care for our parish family. You may desire a visit, a phone call, prayer, or resource information. This is a wonderful opportunity to keep our parish family cared for and connected.

Prayer Ministry
The Prayer Ministry consists of the Healing Prayer Ministry, the Prayer Chain, Intercessory Prayer Groups. Learn more about our Prayer Ministry.

Small Group Ministry
Small groups meet weekly for fellowship, prayer, and Bible study. This is a wonderful opportunity to be a part of a small, caring community. Please see the Small Group bulletin board for specific times and locations. Learn more about our Small Group Ministry.
