Pre-School
The primary purpose of The Church of the Nativity Community Nursery School is to provide children with an environment that is fun and exciting, and at the same time challenging. It offers a Christian environment where an atmosphere of caring and acceptance is vital. We invite all who are interested to please call and come in to visit with us.
The philosophy of our nursery school program is based on the developmental approach to education. The children participate in self-motivated learning through active exploration and interaction with children, adults, and materials. They touch, feel, smell, hear, and see during the learning process.
Parents interested in enrolling a child may call the school at (508) 393-1210 to make an appointment for a visit. Visitors are welcome to come in during school hours and/or after the morning session has concluded. A non-refundable registration fee of $50.00 is payable when a child is enrolled.
Nursery school classes are available from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM on all school days. Parents may enroll their child in a two-day (Tuesday/Thursday) program recommended for children who will not be eligible to start kindergarten the following September, or a three-day (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) program recommended for children who will be starting kindergarten the following year. An extended day program is available on Mondays until 1:00 PM for an additional $10.00 per Monday.
The Church of the Nativity Community Nursery School is accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs.
